Asa Sewell

Asa Sewell is an accomplished sports professional with a rich background in athletic training, coaching, and competitive volleyball. He graduated from Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida, with a degree in Sports Performance Health and Fitness in 2023.
In 2023, Sewell coached Division I beach volleyball at Austin Peay State University, showcasing his expertise in the sport. Prior to this role, he served as a volunteer assistant for the Webber International Women’s Volleyball team, contributing to their Sun Conference and AVCA Small College National Championship victory in 2022.
As a player, Sewell competed at Cumberland University from 2019 to 2020, where he earned the Champion of Character Award. In 2021, he transferred to Webber International University, excelling in both beach and indoor volleyball. He played a crucial role in helping Webber secure its first-ever AVCA Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship in 2021 and achieved a second-place finish the following year. Additionally, Sewell was instrumental as a Libero during Webber’s historic ACC Championship win in 2023.
In 2023, Sewell was an athletic trainer intern at Webber International University, assisting trainers with daily care, practice preparations, and game-day setups. He also served as a brand ambassador and sponsored athlete for SSOVA Beach Volleyball from August 2022 to June 2023, managing court setups, recording team scores, and coordinating tournaments.
